Nemetschek focuses on powerful expert solutions and sells its shares in acadGraph CAD STUDIO
Munich, 1. February 2006 - The Nemetschek group, a leading vendor of software and consulting services in the design, construction and management of buildings and real estate, has sold its 100% subsidiary acadGraph CAD STUDIO GmbH, which is headquartered in Munich. acadGraph develops and sells software based on AutoCAD and has been part of the Nemetschek group since 1997
Gerhard Weiß, Chairman of the Executive Board of Nemetschek AG, explains the decision: "With our 2006 product generation we have expanded our solutions with an even stronger emphasis on expert systems for the design of buildings and real estate. With the sale we are streamlining our portfolio and consolidating our position as the leading one-stop vendor for the building and real estate industry."

Our customers need to be able to solve their tasks far more effectively and quickly than ever before", says Michael Westfahl.
acadGraph achieved sales of EUR 4.2 million with a staff of 14 in 2005. Non-disclosure of the purchase price was agreed on with the buyer consortium consisting of Horstick GmbH, Velen, acadGraph NRW GmbH, Dortmund and CAD4YOU GmbH, Freising.
