The provision of the extended services also requires the collection, processing and use of additional (personal) data.

1. Personal Data

The term “personal data” refers to information on factual or personal circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, but is not limited to, your name, phone number and address as well as any inventory data that you communicate to Allplan upon any registration, log-in or creation of any customer in the online shop. Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or transmitted in any other manner whatsoever if this is required for contract implementation or settlement purposes or if you have given your consent beforehand. Within the framework of order handling, for example, the service providers engaged by Allplan in this context (e.g. sales partners) will be provided with the necessary data for order handling and processing. The data passed on in this manner may only be used by the service providers to perform their task. Any other use of the information is not permitted.

In order to proceed with your registration, Allplan will require your correct name and address data; for placement of orders via our online shop, Allplan will additionally need your payment data. Your e-mail address will be required to ensure that Allplan will be able to confirm the receipt of your application for registration or your order to you, to provide services (e.g. product downloads) and to communicate with you. In addition, the e-mail address will be required for identification purposes (customer log-in).

Any deletion of your personal data will take place, provided that this does not conflict with any statutory provisions and to the extent that you have asserted a corresponding claim for deletion, if the data is no longer required to fulfil the purpose pursued with the storage or if its storage is not permitted for any other legal reasons.

4. Integration of Services and Contents of Third Parties

It may be the case that contents of third parties, such as YouTube videos, Google Maps map material, RSS feeds or illustrations of other websites, will be integrated into the entire Website of Allplan. This will always imply that the providers of such contents (hereinafter referred to as “Third-Party Providers”) are able to see the user's IP address. This is due to the fact that they could not send the contents to the browser of the respective user without such IP address. The IP address will thus only be necessary to display such contents. Allplan will endeavour to only use those contents whose respective providers will solely use the IP address to send the contents. However, Allplan will not have any influence in this respect if the Third-Party Providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. To the extent that this is known, Allplan will communicate this to the user.

5. Cookies

Cookies are small files which are stored on your data carrier and save certain settings and data to exchange them/it with our system via your browser. As a general principle, a distinction is made between two different types of cookies: so-called session cookies, which will be deleted as soon as you close your browser; and temporary/permanent cookies, which will be stored on your data carrier for a longer period of time or for an unlimited period of time. Such storage will help Allplan to design its Website for you in a corresponding manner and will facilitate the use for you, for example if you save certain entries of you in such a way that you will not have to constantly repeat them.

Most of the cookies used by Allplan will be automatically deleted again from your hard drive at the end of the browser session (end of the session) (which is why they are also called session cookies). Session cookies will be required, for example, to offer you the shop function across multiple pages. Apart from that, Allplan will also use cookies which will remain on your hard drive. If you visit the page again, it will automatically be recognised that you have already visited the Website and what your preferred entries and settings are. These temporary or even permanent cookies (which have a lifetime between one month and ten years) will be stored on your hard drive and will delete themselves once the defined period has expired. In particular, these cookies will serve the purpose of making the Website more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Thanks to these files, it will be possible, for example, that certain information specifically tailored to your interests will be displayed to you within the Website.

The cookies used by Allplan will not store any personal data. As a result, it will not be possible to assign the cookies used to any particular person and will thus not be assignable to you either. Once the cookie has been enabled, an identification number will be allocated to it. Any assignment of your personal data to this identification number will not be possible at any time and will not take place either. Using the cookie technology as a basis, Allplan will solely be provided with pseudonymised information, for example on the pages of the Website that have been visited, on the products that have been viewed, etc.

Allplan will make use of certain advertising partners who will help Allplan to design the Website for you in a more interesting manner. Therefore, the cookies of partner companies will also be stored on your hard drive if you visit the websites. These cookies are so-called temporary/permanent cookies, which will automatically delete themselves once the defined period has expired. These temporary or even permanent cookies (which have a lifetime between fourteen days and ten years) will be stored on your hard drive and will delete themselves once the defined period has expired. The cookies of the partner companies will not contain any personal data either. They will solely collect pseudonymised data under a specific user ID. Examples of this include, but are not limited to, data about the offers and/or products that have been viewed by you, whether or not you have requested and/or ordered anything, etc. In this context, some of the advertising partners will also collect some information that goes beyond the Website, for example on the pages that have been visited by you beforehand or on the products for which you have expressed an interest, for instance, in order to display such advertisements to you that correspond to your interests in the best possible manner. Such pseudonymised data will not be combined with your personal data at any point in time. Their exclusive purpose is to enable the advertising partners to address you with specific advertisements which might actually be of interest for you.

By using the Website of Allplan, you agree that so-called cookies will be used and that usage data from you will thus be collected, stored and used. Furthermore, you also agree that your data will be stored in cookies even beyond the end of the browser session and may be called up again, for example the next time you visit the websites. This agreement may be revoked at any time by you with effect for the future by declining acceptance of cookies in your browser settings.

You can set your browser to only accept the storage of cookies if you give your consent to such storage. If you only want to accept the cookies of Allplan, but not the cookies of any service providers and partners (third-party providers), you can select the “Block third-party cookies” setting in your browser. As a general rule, you can use the help function in the menu bar of your web browser to show you how you can reject new cookies and disable any cookies already received.

6. Log Files

Every time the Website of Allplan is accessed, usage data will be transmitted by the respective Internet browser and stored in registry logs, the so-called server log files. The data records stored in this context contain the following data: data and time of the retrieval, name of the page called up, IP address, referrer URL (source URL from which you have accessed the Website), the quantity of data transferred, as well as product and version information about the browser used.

Once the use has been terminated, the IP addresses of the user will be deleted or anonymised. In any case of anonymisation, the IP addresses will be modified in such a manner that it will no longer be possible, or only with a disproportionately large expense in time, cost and labour, to assign the individual information on personal or factual circumstances to a specific or identifiable natural person.

These log file data records will be evaluated by Allplan in anonymised form to further improve the Website and to design it in a more user-friendly manner, to localise any faults more quickly as well as to control server capacities. Apart from that, it will also be possible to identify and correct any faults on the Website more quickly by analysing the registry logs.
