commercial - Steel

From skyscrapers and retail spaces to educational facilities and airports, the Commercial Steel awards honor steel projects that balance innovation, functionality, and aesthetic appeal while meeting the unique demands of commercial construction. 

Commercial projects can be submitted in two categories:

• Large Tonnage (over 700 tons)
• Small Tonnage (under 700 tons)

Industrial - steel

This award recognizes steel projects in industrial applications—such as manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and processing plants—that demonstrate efficiency, durability, and the ability to meet complex operational requirements. 

Complex Miscellaneous - steel

This category is for technically challenging projects that do not fit traditional structural categories. Think stairs, balconies, canopies, walkways, or other unique components that showcase creative problem solving, ingenuity, and advanced detailing techniques.

precast/Rebar

This category is for projects designed using ALLPLAN Precast or ALLPLAN Professional. Submissions may include any type of precast or rebar application - from buried structures to walls and slabs - showcasing innovation, efficiency, and excellence in precast design.

influencer Award

The Influencer Award recognizes a standout individual who has made significant contributions to building and nurturing the user community. The recipient demonstrates a commitment to sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and being a positive force within the industry. They consistently inspire and empower others through mentorship, thought leadership, or active participation in community events and forums.

ingenuity Award

The Ingenuity Award celebrates an individual or team who has demonstrated exceptional creativity in solving a unique or challenging problem using ALLPLAN software*. This award recognizes those who think outside the box, leveraging the software's capabilities in innovative ways to overcome complex design, detailing, or construction obstacles. Recipients of this award showcase the power of creative problem-solving in advancing project outcomes.

Innovation Award

This award honors an individual or team who has implemented groundbreaking solutions that improve business outcomes or push the industry forward. It recognizes those who harness ALLPLAN software* to develop new workflows, streamline processes, or create novel applications that enhance efficiency, quality, or sustainability in design, fabrication, or construction.
