Latest version Allplan 2022 is the focus of the trade fair appearance from November 23 to 24, 2021 in Munich

Munich, November 12, 2021 - When BIM World Munich opens its doors on November 23, 2021, ALLPLAN and its sister brands will be presenting their current solution portfolio at stand 10 of the Nemetschek Group under the motto "Shape the World". The focus is on the new version Allplan 2022, which sets standards for the integrated collaboration of architects, engineers and contractors - from the first draft to the successful implementation on the construction site. In addition, ALLPLAN and its partners will present concepts and solutions for the automated production of buildings from the BIM model in the breakout sessions.

Since 2016, BIM World MUNICH has been the leading networking platform for national and international players in digitization in the construction, real estate and infrastructure sectors. Held annually in Munich, the event is composed of a 2-day international congress and a trade fair with integrated open forums. With over 200 exhibitors as well as numerous innovative start-ups and over 150 speakers on six stages, BIM World MUNICH brings together the entire BIM ecosystem and is the meeting point for all industry players involved.

At this year's BIM World Munich, ALLPLAN will present the latest version of its BIM software Allplan 2022, which was released at the beginning of October. The new version stands for the continuous working method of architects, engineers and contractors on a common platform. Thanks to seamlessly integrated workflows, coordination processes can be shortened, efficiency increased and added value enhanced. Visitors can find out about the new functions for terrain modeling and road planning through to modeling and visualization tools. The concrete and steel construction areas have been further developed. Allplan 2022 also offers new functions for implementation on the construction site.

 

Breakout sessions: Automated manufacturing and BIM

Product Manager BIM & New Technologies, Stefan Kaufmann, will be talking about the automated production of buildings based on BIM as part of the breakout sessions on November 23, 2021 at 2 pm. As initial pilot projects show, the true potential of BIM lies in the execution phase. BIM models are machine-readable and can be used for automated prefabrication processes. Construction sites benefit from faster construction progress documentation and quality assurance. 3D printers use BIM models as the basis for roadway calculations. Stefan Kaufmann talks with four other digitization experts about the use of BIM in construction and discusses challenges and opportunities.
