Besides product development, the companies will also work together on international marketing activities and on expanding sales structures. The first step is the establishment of the joint venture Online Projects, which is aimed at the Belgian, Luxembourg and Dutch markets. The joint venture is part of the Belgian software company SCIA Group NV that specializes in solutions for the construction industry.
Cross-border collaboration
The collaboration between Nemetschek and baulogis will mean that building projects can be accomplished on a cross-enterprise and cross-organization basis: planners, building clients, general contractors and investors will have access at any time and anywhere to the latest documents as they arise during the life cycle of a building - from the planning stages to construction and management. The common data basis improves communication among all project participants, renders building information transparent and facilitates real estate management. Building projects, calls for tenders and sub-contractors can be controlled more easily, more quickly and more securely - and thus in a more cost-effective manner.
