Global Success for ALLPLAN Digital Conference on Future of Infrastructure

Attendees from 75 countries watch twin live streams, across multiple time zones, showcasing infrastructure projects from around the world

Munich, May 13, 2022 – On the 4th of May, 2022, ALLPLAN hosted its second virtual Build the Future – ALLPLAN Infrastructure Digital Conference, broadcast live from Graz in Austria. Open to all Infrastructure professionals this virtual event provided valuable learning opportunities for solutions through international practical examples from bridge, tunnel and road construction. Across two sessions, covering multiple time zones, 11 expert-led presentations were delivered in twin live streams for professionals who registered and attended the event from 75 countries.

ALLPLAN’s CEO, Dr. Detlef Schneider, opened the digital event, ahead of three keynote sessions on infrastructure solutions for bridges, roads and customized design solutions for automation: “We were delighted to see such a high attendance this year, over double that of the previous year, and to share how, through our solutions, we can enable optimization of design to build workflows for a wide range of infrastructure projects.”

 

A focus on optimizing delivery with real-life examples

Participants were able to obtain insight into integrated digital infrastructure solutions, as well as benefit from seeing practical implementation and workflows for daily work, through 11 exciting specialist presentations from Allplan product experts and globally successful engineering firms.

International clients presented infrastructure projects of all sizes and complexity - from the largest infrastructure project in Europe, the Grand Paris Express, to a metro network in Portugal, a railway bridge in Brazil, a road construction project in Switzerland, and several impressive bridge construction projects in China, North America, Croatia, Germany and Romania.

 

An opportunity to learn and connect

Through six chat rooms, hosted by ALLPLAN experts, online discussion on a broad range of topics was conducted on, road, terrain and bridge modeling, bridge analysis, reinforcement detailing, BIM and interoperability.
