Nemetschek Allplan Presents New Service Release

The Allplan 2015-1 service release is now available for download using the auto update function or the customer portal Allplan Connect. Customer wishes were the focus of continuing development. The latest release offers numerous improvements – starting with operation and object modeling in Allplan, through data exchange with planning partners. The advanced functions support users in reacting flexibly to changing project requirements and working more efficiently.

User-friendliness is key
The new features improve user-friendliness in terms of visualization. The real-time renderer has been enhanced in Allplan 2015-1 with a progress bar. It shows ongoing progression of the rendering result until the next update. Architects and planners can create realistic and interactive animations of the building model now in just a few seconds with the real-time renderer. Users then receive immediate visual feedback and can check different angles, camera settings, and materials. Another new feature in Allplan 2015-1 is edge reduction in sketch mode, which enables an optimal display. Work is also made easier with the wall dialog, for example, adaptation of the window size, multi-selection, and transfer of wall layers. The new object modeler for windows and doors also includes new functions. Dome Roof lights, louvers, and additional door fittings can now be flexibly designed. Palettes and handles are used to operate the features. The new component types make component-oriented work easier.

Optimized collaboration with planning partners
Reliable data exchange with planning partners is an essential requirement for efficient handling of construction projects with Building Information Modeling (BIM). In the new release, the data exchange between Allplan and Frilo has been further optimized, for example in the transfer of multi-layer walls. Finally, offices with international projects also benefit from the new release, as reinforcement planning has been enhanced to include additional Euronorm standards.
