Allplan and Allright 2006.2 are based on the high-quality, stable 2006 generation. Only a few weeks after the market launch of Windows Vista in Europe, both releases are already capable of running on the latest Windows generation. Users can switch to Windows Vista during an ongoing project without problems or extensive data conversions. According to a survey carried out by Nemetschek, 30 percent of the architects and designers asked intend to switch to the new operating system in the next six months.

Optimized performance in 3D projects
Nemetschek's new versions reflect the fact that more and more architects are making the switch from purely 2D drawings with lines and circles to three-dimensional, object-oriented designs. The software provider has improved performance in many areas of Allplan and Allright. This is true of Design2Cost, for example, which can generate large quantities of 3D data. Design2Cost is an integrated solution for cost planning that is made up of Allplan, Allright and Nemetschek IBD (Intelligent Building Data). In the new versions, quantities and costs can now be determined even more quickly and precisely. Nemetschek is the only company on the market with TÜV certification of graphic quantity takeoff.

IFC standard developed further
Allplan 2006.2 also optimizes cooperation between architects, designers and building clients. The future-oriented IFC format makes it possible to exchange model data across functions and applications. In addition to 3D object data, this also includes 2D elements such as labels, texts, symbols und hatching styles. At the same time as Allplan 2006.2, Nemetschek is also bringing the IFC Viewer onto the market. The viewer enables interactive viewing and exploration of building models independently of the CAD system being used. The IFC Viewer is available for free download www.nemetschek.com/ifc . Allplan 2006.2 also supports the traditional industry standard DWG/DXF 2007.

Both versions are available immediately via authorized contract partners domestically and internationally.
