New Allplan service release from NEMETSCHEK Allplan now available

Reach your goal more quickly with optimized work processes. NEMETSCHEK Allplan aims to offer the best possible software tool for architects and engineers. This also applies to the current service release Allplan 2014-1, which is now available. The BIM solution contains new features that enable users to optimize their work processes and achieve faster results, namely attractive designs in architecture and accurate reinforcements in engineering.

Fully integrated BIM software across all project phases
Today, the planning, construction and management of buildings form a seamless process within the framework of Building Information Modeling (BIM). Thanks to Allplan’s integrated approach, the BIM solution offers its users a unique portfolio of solutions across different disciplines. These solutions range from software for architecture and engineering or tender, award and cost management through to facility management. Thus all phases of a building’s life cycle are all covered by Allplan.

New features for architects and engineers
Intuitive operation and intelligent work processes are at the forefront of developments for service release Allplan 2014-1. In the area of architecture, Allplan customers benefit above all from new parametric object modeling for designing windows and doors. This feature enables you to create detailed, realistic 3D models easily and quickly. These are highly convincing in presentations to building clients, for example, and therefore play a central role in winning new orders. In line with the BIM working method, these parametric objects can also be alphanumerically evaluated in a variety of ways.

In the area of engineering, service release Allplan 2014-1 supports Allplan users in the execution of international building projects. To this end, further international standards for reinforcement planning have been implemented. For reinforcement planning, Allplan also offers greater user-friendliness with the transfer of the placing region – especially for structural and bridge engineering. With the service release, data exchange for reinforcement models via IFC is even clearer thanks to individual color displays.
