Student from Münster receives study grant from Nemetschek Allplan

Germany/Munich, October 23, 2013 – Nemetschek Allplan establishes links with German universities and promotes CAD talents.

The winner of the grant for vocational college graduates is Sabine Hesse. She has graduated as a qualified construction draftswomen from the Wilhelm-Emmanuel-von-Ketteler vocational college and is now embarking on a degree in architecture at RWTH Aachen. The grant is worth 300 euros a month and is awarded for one year.

In addition to excellent technical skills, the jury was in particular impressed by Sabine Hesse’s diverse commitment in the area of climate protection and regenerative energy as well as her efforts on behalf of others. She intends to continue to pursue both aspects at university.

“The response to the invitation to apply for the Nemetschek Allplan grant in the spring of 2013 exceeded our expectations. The high quality of the vocational students’ application documents particularly impressed us,” says Karin Schmidt, head of the education team at Nemetschek Allplan. The company was looking for committed people who had not only completed a vocational qualification in architectural drawing, structural engineering or a related subject, but who were also highly motivated and willing to learn and were socially socio-politically committed.

Spurred on by this success, Nemetschek Allplan will award a study grant again next year. The application procedure will probably begin in May 2014.
