Release notes (11/26/2025)
General
Thanks to several edits and corrected messages in the Quality Reporter, ALLPLAN now is even more stable.
In certain cases, switching between tools multiple times without exiting the respective tool with ESC caused the program to freeze; this has now been fixed.
The .NET framework has been updated to fix the login problem with BIMcollab.
Services application
Creating a new user or changing an existing user in Services application no longer causes the program to freeze.
Data conversion for multiple projects via Services application now works again without prompting for each individual project.
If Dark mode is set in ALLPLAN, the note text is now visible during data conversion for all projects.
MSI Setup
When upgrading a single-user installation with a UNC data path, the etc data could not be accessed on a specific operating system and with a specific license; this has now been fixed.
Plug-ins
Road
In the ‘Draw cross section’ tool, the distance between cross-sections is now kept when the axis is changed.
With the ‘Create terrain points in grid’ tool, duplicate points are no longer created at the edges.
After restarting the ‘Create road report’ tool, the correct section is now displayed in the highlighted area.
Teamwork
ALLPLAN Share
In ALLPLAN Share projects with office resources in the cloud, the selectability of path settings has been adjusted.
In ALLPLAN Share projects, detailed plans from the BIM Booster could be overwritten due to a missing lock; this has now been fixed.
GeoPackage
The import of GeoPackage data with a large number of points or multiple polylines has been improved.
Georeferencing
The limits of the cartesian coordinates of the survey points have been adjusted.
IFC Interface
Importing data into an existing building structure now works correctly again.
Attributes
The attributes ‘End Date’ and ‘Start Date’ are now correctly pre-filled in the properties palette.
When changing attributes for multiple objects on multiple drawing files using the information palette, objects with previously undefined attributes were deleted when undoing the action; this has now been fixed.
Annotations
Reports
In the case of minor inaccuracies or misalignments in the slab model, the slab geometry was incorrectly identified for the ‘Formwork - slabs (soffit)’ report; this has now been fixed.
When using the ‘Windows’ color scheme, reports could not be generated; this has now been fixed.
User Interface
Selecting and then deselecting all nodes in the building structure led to an unusual increase in memory usage; this has now been fixed.
The display of the context menu for the Library palette in Dark mode has been improved.
In Dark mode, the previously black elements are now displayed clearly in the pen and line definition as well as in the definition of colors for the format quickselect.
In Dark mode, the field for edge selection is now displayed correctly when creating roof surfaces.
In certain cases, when working with converted projects from version 2025, the properties palette was not built correctly; this has now been fixed.
Basics
Layout Editor
When exporting multiple plans to PDF, where the title blocks were set as a drawing file with an embedded Word document, the title block of the first plan was always used; this has now been fixed.
User-Defined Objects
SmartParts
For SmartParts with embedded images, the images are now displayed in the properties palette in Dark mode.
Visualization
When rendering with ‘Redshift’, the text placeholder in the camera settings area was replaced with the correct text.
The display in the ‘Surfaces’ palette in Dark mode has been improved.
New Cineware, Redshift, Twinmotion, and Lumion logos have been integrated, which also support Dark mode.
In certain cases, working with Twinmotion caused the program to crash; this has now been fixed.
PythonParts
Calculating the percentage of window glass area in relation to another area using the available PythonPart returns correct results again.
Views and Sections
In certain cases, due to performance issues, the message ‘Maximum number of data items reached’ was displayed when working in the workgroup; this has now been fixed.
Architecture
Unfinished structure
When creating slabs and slab foundations by copying, using favorites, or matching existing components, a new IFC ID is now generated.
When modifying the door or window depth in spline-based walls, the opening width is no longer changed for radial openings.
When modifying beams with the ‘Modify attributes’ tool, the ‘Display surface element in plan view’ option is no longer automatically activated.
Setting the thickness of a wall layer to “zero” in multi-layer walls no longer causes the program to crash.
Finishes
When converting data from previous versions of projects, hatching number 5 was automatically assigned to the layers of vertical coverings; this has now been fixed.
Engineering
The quality of ALLPLAN has been further improved by correcting incoming crash reports and providing traceable messages from the ALLPLAN Quality Manager.
Bar reinforcement
The reports for British Standard have been improved for self-defined shape codes.
